1. (SOW) Adult Class Court Allocation
Statement of Work (SOW)
Adult Class Court Allocation Requirements
Applicable to Independent Contractor Tennis Professionals
1.Purpose
The purpose of this Statement of Work is to outline the expectations, procedures, and quality standards for independent contractor tennis professionals conducting adult group classes at Agape Tennis Academy. These guidelines support effective court usage, consistent program quality, and an optimal coach-to-player experience across all locations.
This SOW does not alter the contractor’s status and does not create an employer–employee relationship.
- Court Allocation Requirements
Independent contractors who accept adult class assignments agree to operate within the following court-usage parameters:
- Each adult class is assigned one court only.
- The maximum coach-to-player ratio is 8:1.
- When more than 8 players attempt to register, additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist.
- A second court will not be added, regardless of demand.
- At no time may more than 8 registered players be accepted into a single adult class.
These limits ensure consistent instructional quality and standardized player experience.
- Minimum Registration Requirement
- Adult classes must have a minimum of 4 registered players to be conducted as a standard class.
- If fewer than 4 players are registered, the class will be cancelled, unless the contractor elects to offer an alternative service option.
- Alternative Options for Low Enrollment
When fewer than 4 players are registered, independent contractors may elect—at their discretion—to offer players an alternative service in place of the standard class.
Pricing Structure Based on Participants
- 1–2 players → Private lesson
- 3 players → Group private lesson
- 4 players → Standard class proceeds
Additional Expectations
- Contractors must clearly inform players that pricing will adjust based on the number of participants and service type.
- Players may choose whether or not to participate in the alternative option.
- Participation is voluntary for both the contractor and the players.
- Communication & Scheduling Updates
To maintain accurate scheduling records:
- Once the contractor determines whether the session will be:
- Cancelled
- Run as a private lesson
- Run as a group private lesson
- or Proceed as a standard class
the contractor must notify the Front Office.
- The Front Office will then update Club Automation with:
- Correct session type
- Pricing
- Player assignments
- If the class is cancelled, the Front Office will remove it from the schedule or update it according to standard cancellation procedures.
- Review & Updates
This SOW will be reviewed annually to ensure alignment with Agape’s programming standards and operational needs. Any updates will be communicated to independent contractors, who may choose whether to continue accepting adult class assignments under the revised terms.
