Introduction to the Messages Tab

The Messages tab on a user’s profile provides a record of all automatic and manual messages sent to the user through Club Automation. Each message displays a status, giving facility staff visibility into communication with the user.

Once on a user's profile, select the User Groups & Packages tab.

How to Filter Messages 

Staff can filter messages by date range, status, and communication type.

  1. Date Range: Use the filter to display messages sent during a specific date range.
  2. Status: Filter message results by delivery status. Status options are:
    1. All: This will display all messages regardless of status.
    2. Delivered: Only messages successfully delivered to the user will display.
    3. Open: Only emails opened by the user will display. (Not applicable to SMS)
    4. Sent: Messages sent, but not yet successfully delivered, will display.
    5. Spam: The spam status indicates the email was sent to the user’s spam folder. (Not applicable to SMS)
  3. Communication Type: Filter to see only Email or SMS communications.

How to View Messages

When viewing the messages sent to a user, the following information is provided.

  • From: The sender address or phone number associated with the message. For emails, the sender address will always appear as no-reply@clubautomation.com to help avoid system emails being blocked or marked as spam.
  • Subject: Subject of the communication. Click on the subject to view the content of the message sent.
  • Status: Status of the communication.
  • Type: The type of communication sent.
  • Date: The date and time the communication was sent.

Staff can view a snapshot of the message’s contents by selecting the subject line of a message.
