Tennis Drills TV exists to make the jobs of tennis coaches easier
We do this by having the world’s largest collection of tennis drills that can be viewed online and printed off in diagram form.
Our founder is Jorge Capestany: Jorge is one of only 14 people worldwide that has earned the distinction of International Master Professional with the PTR and Master Professional with the RSPA.
In Jorge’s 42 years of coaching tennis, he has taught more than 62,000 hours of drills on the court and always loved having new and fresh tennis drills to share with his players so practices would not become boring or stale.
But Jorge had a problem… He was not able to find a place for new tennis drills anywhere he looked. This is a problem because most tennis coaches have forgotten more drills than they can remember! It was easy to find some sites that had quality videos, and others that had only diagrams, but those were difficult to follow…
In 2008, Jorge started Tennis Drills TV with the goal of making every tennis coach look like Rock Stars to their students by supplying them with an endless supply of awesome tennis drills to use in practices. Tennis Drills TV has grown to have subscribers in more than 76 countries and has the world’s largest tennis drills video vault.
Tennis Family Business
Jorge runs his racquet sports business with his family. This includes his wife (and fellow teaching pro) Marti and his daughter and former college player, Carli. They have produced hundreds of instructional videos and are often featured in the tennis drill videos on Tennis Drills TV.
Jorge was born in Cuba and his family fled in 1962 to escape the communist regime of Fidel Castro. Jorge’s family was sponsored by a church in Hudsonville Michigan soon after arriving in America.
Jorge met his wife Marti literally on a tennis court in 1980 on the campus of Grand Valley State University in Michigan.

Jorge has served as the President of the West Michigan USTA District, the President of the USPTA Midwest Division, the Chair of the PTR National Education Committee, and on the USTA National 10 & Under Committee.
He one of the original speakers for the Cardio Tennis team that traveled the US delivering workshops and training other professionals in Cardio Tennis.
Jorge continues to serve as a USTA Faculty member conducting workshops all over the US for other coaches.
He also a member of the Wilson Premiere Speakers Team and speaks all over the country on behalf of Wilson Tennis.
Jorge also serves as a consultant to many clubs in the tennis industry.
Sports Entrepreneur
Jorge is the founder of Capestany Tennis Inc. which runs tennis websites for players and coaches.

Jorge has been published in several industry publications and has authored multiple books.

Jorge’s programs have developed more than 185 HS State Tennis Champions in Michigan.
Jorge has been the personal coach to many nationally ranked juniors in the US including three national champions (Gold Ball winners).
Jorge’s adult teams have won numerous UTA league championships.
Jorge’s personal students have earned College Scholarships totaling in the multi-millions in value.
