SPORTIME Clubs

SPORTIME was founded in 1994 and has grown into one of the most important racquet sports operators in the New York metropolitan region.

Although it is sometimes described simply as a New York City organization, SPORTIME operates clubs across Long Island, New York City, Westchester County, the New York Capital Region, and New Jersey. The company reports operating 20 clubs with more than 325 indoor and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts.

SPORTIME offers recreational and competitive tennis, pickleball, padel, fitness, camps, volleyball, hockey, turf sports, and other activities.

It employs more than 250 certified tennis professionals and operates the John McEnroe Tennis Academy, its high-performance junior development program. SPORTIME also supports the Johnny Mac Tennis Project, which works to reduce economic and social barriers to participation in tennis.

Coaching opportunities range from introductory junior and adult instruction to tournament-player development, academy coaching, pickleball programming, and club management.

Why RSM students should know SPORTIME:

SPORTIME provides opportunities to work in one of the country’s largest and most competitive tennis markets. It is especially relevant for students interested in junior development, high-performance coaching, large-scale programming, and managing busy indoor racquet facilities.
