2. Front Desk & Payments

To avoid a big line and hassles at our front desk we required pre-registration and pre-payment for this event.

We have had other similar events where we thought it might get us more players if we just let them show up and sign up on the spot, but the trade-off was long lines at the front desk and people were frustrated.

So we typically charge upfront for these events now. It also lets us know exactly how many players will be coming so we can plan better.
