3. Learning Outcomes

After attending the two-day workshop attendees will be able to:

1) Organize group lessons using written lesson plans and lesson templates

2) Effectively warm-up a group of players at  the beginning of the class

3) Deliver effective group drills for the five Play Situations, which include:

        • Serving
        • Returning
        • Baseline  Play
        • Net and transition
        • Lobs and Passing shots

 

4) Properly set up and demonstrate a group drill

5) Modify drills to make them easier or more difficult based on the student's skill level

6) Demonstrate the difference between live ball and dead ball feeding and use each in a drill setting

7) Organized point or match play within a group lesson setting

8) Properly dismiss the students at the end of a class
