CARDIO SPARRING TENNIS DRILL 

This is a cooperative baseline drill that focuses on reducing errors.

Players 1 & 2 rally on half the court while players 3 & 4 do the same on the other half.

Players work to sustain a cooperative baseline rally.

Whenever an error is made by either player, BOTH players must turn and run to the back fence, touch it, then hustle back to the baseline and start a new rally.

This simply “penalty” gives players the incentive to be consistent and not over-hit.

This tennis drill has worked well for us with players that are wild, lack control, and hit too many errors.
